The Brief
A Brooklyn wellness studio commissioned a large-scale mural that would reflect its commitment to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for its community.
The goal was to develop an artwork that celebrated a diverse range of body shapes and sizes while integrating naturally with the studio’s existing visual identity.
The Approach
The mural uses simplified, overlapping figures to celebrate individuality, movement, and the diversity of the human form. The studio’s existing brand colors were expanded with a complementary palette, creating a direct connection between the artwork and the surrounding space.
Designed at an environmental scale, the composition transforms the wall into a visual expression of the studio’s values—creating a sense of warmth, acceptance, and belonging within the physical experience of the brand.
Role & Execution
Creative direction, concept development, illustration, mural design, color development, layout, and on-site painting.
Project Note
The opportunity to translate a brand’s values into a physical experience made this project especially meaningful. Rather than simply decorating the space, the mural became an expression of the community the studio wanted to create—one where every body could feel represented and welcome.
